The process

Four steps from browsing to collection

Bidding happens entirely online through the auction platforms — never directly with us.

01

Register

Create an account on i-bidder or BidSpotter and register to bid on the sale you want.

02

View

Read the lot description, then book a viewing appointment to inspect anything in person.

03

Bid

Place your maximum bid before the timer ends. The platform bids on your behalf up to your limit.

04

Pay & collect

Settle the invoice, then arrange collection or delivery of your winning lot.

Lots are described honestly and offered exactly as catalogued. Conditions vary from lot to lot, so we strongly recommend you book a viewing appointment to inspect anything that interests you before you bid.

In detail

Everything you need to know

01

Register on the platform

Create a free account with i-bidder or BidSpotter and register to bid on the specific sale. You only need to do this once per platform.

02

Browse and book a viewing

Read each lot’s description and photographs, then book a viewing appointment to inspect anything that interests you. Conditions vary, so seeing a lot in person is always worthwhile.

03

Place your bids

Sales are timed online auctions. Enter your maximum bid and the platform bids on your behalf up to that limit. Keep an eye on the clock as the sale ends — bids in the final moments can extend the timer.

04

Pay and collect

If you’re the highest bidder when the timer ends, you’ll be invoiced through the platform. Settle up, then arrange collection from our Ely site or delivery of your lot.
